Flounder Chum
#1
[size 2]Ingredients:

1. 5lb of uncooked white rice
2. 3 cans of canned corn
3. 3 cans of chopped clams
4. 1 bottle of Berkley saltwater fish attractant

Take the rice and "par" boil it in water. Cook it as the directions say but cut the cooking time way down so it just begins to start to cook. I like to add extra salt to it when I begin to cook it. Take the rice off the stove and drain the excess water off. Don’t cool it off. I then open all the cans of corn and clams and dump the juice and all into the warm rice. Then add the Berkley Saltwater fish attractant and thoroughly mix all the ingredients together. As the rice cools it will absorb all the juices of the clams, corn, and fish attractant creating thousands of little "white power bait" power nuggets that emit a stream of tasty delights the flounder can't resist. I will usually fish with a rig consisting of a double flounder hook rig with yellow beads and either worms or clams on the hooks. Little yellow or white Mr. Twister tails can be added to the hooks and painting sinkers white or yellow can add even more effectiveness to your offering.
