Jordan Pumphouse??

Just curious where everyone fishes near the pumphouse? There is the main channel where the water is pumped out and then there is a secondary dam, which forms another short channel. I have mostly fished the secondary channel and have had limited success. Do big fish school up right below the main channel when the water is rushing out or where is the best location?? I have read that big channel cats are attracted to current. How true is this? Thanks.
