is anyone going to be fishing utah lake for the memorial weekend? i will be camping at lincoln beach.. cattin all night.

I don't know man! Didn't you hear the storm warnings for this weekend? It's gonna kill that long fishing weekend for me, that's for sure. Walleyes and bass got their mouths stiched up when cold front comes through... however as for cats... not sure of their behavior during storms. Let me know how you did, so I will remember to fish or not to fish during inclement weather...

Channels tend to stop biting as well during bad weather. Usually you need a good 2 - 3 days of stable weather to do well for them. Occasionally you can still hook a few in bad weather. It doesn't seem to affect the mudders quite as much.

not too bad actually, if it is windy there are no skeeters. if it is calm.. get that fire going, i think that the smoke scares them off or something.
