Fishing:Good water levels are reported. Fishing activity has dropped off, but anglers are taking some white bass on the surface and a few wipers, mostly during early mornings and late evenings. An occasional walleye was taken using trolled artificial baits or by jigging a nightcrawler. Channel catfishing is picking up in the upper end, with anglers using drifted shad or shrimp. Bank fishing success is limited, with an occasional wiper between 12 and 14 inches and a few drum taken. -- I&E Staff
