I don't know how many of you out there read the DWR fishing forums. There is a post there titled Teaching a child to fish under the fishing discussion forum. I have posted this website there to get this person some help, I figure if I post it here maybe some of you guys could help with his dilemia.If you would ckeck it out and give what input you could it would be great. I would hate to see a future fisherman just give up on the outdoors all together.

I think if he were to ask for help on this board he would get an overwhelming response. There are many people here including myself that would take them fishing. Then the father would not need a license. He might get interested enough to get a license in the future.

Hey Kent,
Read your reply to the post on that forum. It's people like you who keep me coming back and participating here. Thats a great thing you are doing for that father and son! I hope you guys catch plenty of fish and show them a good time. You should be commended for your offer to provide a license for the father. Not many would do that. I would just like to say thank you Kent. Just reading your post gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.
