Rock Cliffs 7-21-04

Went to the Rock Cliffs after work to do some fishing from my tube. My buddy and I met up there about 6:00 p.m. and fished till 9:15 p.m. Not a real great day, we ended up catching about 11 smallies between the both of us and a few perch. The smallies were between 10-14 inches, and caught with stickbaits and grubs. I'm going to take the boat up there this weekend in hopes of some bigger fish.

Thanks for the report Scartinez, at least you caught some fish. According to a report I read lately the bigger bass are in deeper water, how deep were you fishing? After reading the report yesterday about the 25 incher that was caught, I'm guessing you have to catch a lot of dinks before you catch that one big guy. Good luck on catching some big guys on your next outing. WH2
