I'm searching of advice from those in the Know.. I'll taking down both the trolling boat and float tube. I'm hoping for advice from anyone about Muskie and I'm hoping to hear from anyone that has tackled Mill Meadow and/or Johnson Reservoir lately? If you been there how was the Muskie fishing in general? What was the best producer and at what depth? What sizes ranges were you catching? I planning to travel to that area a week from tonight for a couple days and thought I'd like to try Tiger so any advice is more than welcomed. Thanks in advance.

From what I understand, they planted the muskies in Johnson, but have never had any reports of anyone catching them. The DWR is anxiously looking for reports of catches to see if any of them survived.
I don't know if they actively planted them in Mill Meadow. I do know I have never heard of a single one being caught in either of the two lakes.
Sorry if the report disappoints you. However, there is some fun trout fishing in Mill Meadow, and you can catch buckets full of perch in Johnson. If the muskies did survive there, there is plenty of food for them.

I'm not disappointed because there's always splake and Mack to be caught at Fish Lake. From what the fishin' proc. said theres an 8 fish, no size restriction limit at Mill Meadows where Tigs are concerned. Now it leads me to wonder why they'd place that type of limit if Tigs dont exist in that water.

Hey i think that i read a post a while back by fuzzy that he had seen a musky in fish lake.Not sure if i did or not though .I didnt know that muskies could travel through rivers.
