went to lindon boat harbor this morning for some fishing. the fishing was extremely slow, but I did manage to catch 2 channel cats. one that was 23" and another that was 19". My friend managed to catch a couple of small white bass.

Yeah bro i know how it is. My little bro and I went thursday night and it sucked. He caught 2 little mudcats, a white bass, and a 8 1/2 lb carp. It was the worst fishin ever!!

I think it was all the rain and wind the night before. That can turn utah lake off for a few days. I did pick up a bunch of lead though to melt down into new jigs,

yeah, it was all the rain i believe, but the time before that it rained and was really windy and we caught 2;3lb channel cats and a bunch of muddies. i dont get those cats, but i love them anyway.

I know for me with the cats I always have the most consistent luck with fresh fish flesh. weather that is carp or white bass. I always catch more big channel cats on that than anything else. In fact the smallest channel I have caught this year was 19" and I have caught 12 or 13 channel cats this year. most in the 20-25 inch range with one 28" channel,
