We hit the water at 6:00 and tried for some fluke for about an hour. The gulls started to work so we got out the light weights with a plug and started to pitch into the boiling water. Blues all around us and fish flopping in the bottom of the boat. What a rush. This lasted for about an hour. Threw out a charlie bait and I knew that the tail would be gone on the first bite and it was, but I kept using it.A 18" fluke came up and ate it, unreal. Trolled for the rest of the day and ended up with 19 blues, 1 fluke. Beats bass fishing this time of year. Green or blue plugs seemed to work best. All fish where schoolies but what a fight in light tackle.
