Salmon fishing has picked up 100%. We have been taking good catches on every trip. Night fishing off the Salmon River mouth has been the best its been in a couple of weeks or all season for that matter. Trolling or casting glow spoons and plugs has been the hot ticket to successful trips. I have been doing two trips a night and both evening and early morning trips have been equally productive.
The river level remains low- 335cfs a bumpy ride for the driftboat. I did one bank trip this last week and found plenty off fish. They were very line shy, but with ten pound flourocarbon we managed to land a few, losing many more. So as long as they keep stacking up at the river mouth thats where I'll be.
good luck
