Steelhead Salmon River late Nov.
#1
Fishing on the Salmon River has been sporadic. The water level is low -335cfs and has been that way since mid-Sept. The last few trips have been decent but the weekend was mostly slow. A week ago we were doing much better. We need some precipitation to fire things up a little. There are plenty of fish off the river and in the estuary, a little flow increase should improve the action. All in all it has been good trout fishing but =we have had to work hard to be successful. My date book has plenty of openings if anyone is intrested in learning steelhead techniques and some out of the way hotspots.- www.theriverguide.com

thanks for that fishing report. and a Big welcome to bigfishtackle.com fishing message boards.

hope you will share more of your adventures here on the new york board.

I will see what I can do about getting my guys here at the head waters of the huron river to open the dam and let some of our back waters flow down your way....
