Liquid Sunshine Inundates Southern Cal
#1
Hey there guys,

You won't see many fishin' reports for the last few days because all our lakes and reserviors are getting filled up and the ski season is starting early! Like it or not!

Cold, windy, wet..... and that the good part! Seriously some diehard guys are fishing the beaches for big corbina and other surf perch but it's torture to fight the salad and wet weather.

Even if it clears, the near-shore fishing is gonna be difficult for nearly a week!

Anybody got any fishing adventures to share that they've experienced in the last week?

Inspite of foul weather, there is still alot of hoopnetting going on from the piers. Lobster are coming up in moderate numbers and they are being caught as far north as Santa Barbara.

Kayakers are doing very well dropping thier nets around the jettys and breakwaters.[cool]
