Take care,

Take care,

[size 2] [font "comic sans ms"] Had a good time, once we got there. Ran into snow and ice just south of Tonopah and had it until just about to Hawthorne. It took about 6 1/2 hours to get there. Got to Walker Lake at around 4:30 and just as daybreak hit Southernman got his first fish. After that the bite was here and there. We ended up getting 3 for the day. The bite totally stopped at around 1:00PM so we headed the motel. All reports that I read said spoons were the ticket, just about any color. That wasn't the case on this trip. Both of us tried almost every lure and spoon, all to no avail. Rainbow and pink Power Bait is what they were hitting. Day two, after talking to Ed at Ed’s Bait and Tackle / Bail Bonds the fishing didn’t get much better. We got only one on Sunday. Couldn’t have asked for better weather though, it was almost perfect.

Take care,
David
