I don't think there would be any ice in the marina if they had left the bubblers on and the fog had lifted this week. I hope the weatherman is right about those temps.

Hey curt hows it going? I didn't know they turned the bubblers off I wish they would let them run as long as the lake is open. That marina can get pretty thick and take quite awhile to thaw.[]

We were up there on Monday and they were going, they must have shut them off after that. I was talking to Darin of Pugstone's, he thought they should put more bubblers in the marine, I think that would make it a lot harder to freeze. Then we could use TubeDudes idea, drill a lot of hole and it would be gone, ha,ha. It's going to be a while before it thaws out now, I guess there isn't much we can do now. WH2

Hey Jeff,

Ice or no ice I am fishing the big blue! By boat, long line, or drilling holes it will happen all winter for me. I just unburied my little aluminum in hopes of launching her from somewhere that is plowed out. I know of two spots that would be a cinch for me to get on the water. Time will tell friend. Marina or not I am fishing Bear Lake!

The warm temps and chance of snow are all part of our wonderful world at Bear Lake. I do not care what the weather is, I enjoy her anyway!!! This place is like heaven to me and I will cherish every moment I have up there.

We still need to hook up and go fishing one day my friend!

I agree pat, I'm even thinking of taking my 16 foot aluminum out of retirement But that sure is hard after fishing in the boat I have now.
