you guys too lazy to be out fishing at lincoln??walleyes are still being caught but you need a boat unless you wanna freeze your butt off fishing late at night along the shoreline...if you have a boat then beating the sunlight will be a perfect time to fish...stay out like around 150-250 yaRds away from the spring

Hey Pat, does the same thing apply for Willard as far as the walleye starting to feed aggressively next month?

With the water being so low the last couple of years, I've learned a few things about the location of drop offs and structure in Willard. I think I'll get the boat out next month and give it a try. A couple of things to remember, the channel coming out of the South marina has been dredged 6 to 8 feet deeper, so you are right about the eyes heading there before the spawn, good idea, I'll give it a try. The other thing is, the channel is open from the south marina to the outlet of the bay and in years past it has been a good place to fish, when the rest of the channel is closed. The rest of the channel does not close until March 1 so it might be worth a try in Feb. Thanks for the good ideas Pat. Maybe we can plan an outing if the water keeps a rising.

Hey TD take your GPS. The fog has been murder on the lake. Went Sat. with some co-workers. Got lost in the fog w/his GPS. Went in circles for about an hour. Fishin wasn't too bad though. The eyes were being cooperative and we all got a couple. Nothing big but a nice time after work.
