Three 20's, two 30's, and a few 5-15 dinks.
Heres a few pictures I got. More may follow if they'll cough em up! [laugh]

[black]SWEET! Looks like your trips up there finally paid off! Amazing how those 15lbers become dinks once you've hooked up on a 30lber or two! HA![/black]

Great fish! How thick is the ice? What did ya get them on? Looks like a blast. Do you know if there is any ice south of pipeline?

[shocked]WOW!! Nice fish, Don! I wish I could call a 10 lber a dink! Sounds like you really know what you are doing up at the Gorge on the ice, even if you almost drive your wheeler into the lake! I'll have to buy you a case of beer sometime or something so maybe you could give me some lessons out there! Congrats on a great day out there, and thanks for sharing those impressive pics!

The gang finally coughed em up.. Enjoy
Btw,, Thanks guys! But I will except NO credit for the success our group of 5 short steppin’, glass walkin’ fools had last Saturday. Those honors go to Fishley, a guy I’m proud to call a friend and fishin’ buddy.. My friend you sure taught this old dog a new trick or two, lol! Thanks again!
Rich; your right, it is funny how 15lbers turn into dinks when 30's are poppin' up, lol. But I’m still more than happy to play with the little guys, lol. However, No 30lber for me, mine was only 24lbs dinker, lol.. When all is said and done I suppose what my pappy said of me might be true. He once told me, "if nothing else your certainly hard headed!" so perhaps my persistence finally paid off.. That and making a friends with a guy I consider one heck of a Mac hunter.
Sorry guys, I have no 3 wheeler story to report of last weekend... It stayed on the trailer, I didn’t want to risk getting soaked again because the ice was, lets say, a tad iffy in the area we fished. In fact, at one point Saturday morning before the travel to the catchin' grounds had ended I heard a high pitched and nervous voice some distance behind me say, "YOU GUY ARE CRAZY!!!. And later once the catchin’ had started and her battled with a goodin’ had been won, "My backside is so puckered a Gorilla couldnt break loose!!". Yeah, the ice was a bit on the puckering side in a couple places.
When all was said and done we manage to do well Saturday and I ended up with my first Mac Wall Hanger. And how we ended up with a few decent pictures is beyond me. We had 3 cameras on the ice that only wanted to work part of the time due to the cold, full memories, low batteries, etc… But we managed to get a few pictures when it counted.. HA!
Ron,, Man you know it! To bad you had to scoot out! I'm looking forward to sharing the water with you again Bud.. Let me know when you plan to be back..
Ash,,
Awww come on now, that ice wasnt that thin, HA!!!
But hey, maybe we should try to avoid the huge after shocks due to the pressure fractures next time. You know, those little butt shakers that cause the chairs to dance rather well while their being sat in? Seems they tend to send a certain someone hot steppin' it towards shore you know, LOL!

Thanks again Randy, glad you enjoyed em. And yeah, I've seen the glass you'll dance on also so you just might be crazy enough, lol...[laugh]
But I cant really say when I might get back up here. I'm now right in the middle of moving. Somehow during my favorite fishin' season it just dont seem fair to be movin' rather than fishin'! Not fair! Not fair at all! [ ![Sad Sad](https://bigfishtackle.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.png) ]

Wow. Nice, nice fish. I'm terribly JEALOUS!
I'm headed to the gorge next Monday. NEVER ice fished there before, though. Any tips on where to go, good place to park, lures, depth, presentation? Much appreciated!

Are you heading up the on the 21st? I've been thinking about going up in the next to weeks. I would like to get a group of us together for the long drive and a good day of fishing. Maybe we could get Coldfooter and Fishley to show us how it's done.
