One day after the cutthroat plant at Fisherman's Park in Reno the fishermen were catching fish up to 5 lbs. on Powerbait. One angler caught and released 6 large cutthroats in a few hours. Others are trying lures and flies.

Use a bobber in areas where weeds are an issue. Lures: try using small spinners with a slower, erratic retrieve.[/size][/font] Both Sparks Marina and Virginia Lake were stocked this fall with rainbow trout. Spring stocking of urban ponds will begin in March.
