HELP: That's get the word out....
#1
We all know it is coming - We have time to prepare.

That tell ALL the Boy Scout Leaders, Parents, and Relative to

STAY AWAY FROM the rivers and creeks when the run-off starts.

The curious roar of the water will draw everyone toward the raging creeks and the a big DANGER of DROWNING.

Fisherman start telling all the kids to stay BACK from the waters edge. Since it has been several years since the stream have been this high many will want to go see the flooding.

I hope we can save some of the curious because it doesn't matter how great of a swimmer you are - mother nature doesn't forgive.

PLEASE - PLEASE start tell everyone to stay back from high water and respect the danger that will be lying in wait for anyone.

Prevention is always easier than the cure. Please spread the word.

Agreed! I have been spreading the word.

I went to fish one of my favorite "producing" spots last friday on the provo river and nearly went under myself. The run off is so high that this area where normally is slow drift with some big holes is now a raging river.

Be careful fly anglers.

Even in the spots that look safe, you can slip and if you're wearing waders, you'll be in deep excrement before you can say what the hell just happened?? I slipped in the Provo several years back and got snagged under an undercut bank by a root wad that caught a suspender. Only me reaching out and over the top of the bank and pulling myself up kept me from watching from upstairs while all of you fish. High water is dangerous and when its muddy, there really isn't much way to tell depth or see branches and that sweeping towards you until they are right there. Hope everyone is careful because it would be a shame to see any of you in the gone but not forgotten pages of the paper.
