KALISPELL, MT— A Montana angler recently reeled in a sock that contained human foot bones while fishing Montana's Whitefish Lake.
Local authorities say the angler had been fishing in approximately 60 feet of water when he pulled in a black-and-green sock containing 11 small bones. The bones have been sent for testing to the state crime lab in Missoula, Montana, and divers are currently searching that part of the lake for a body. Kalispell law enforcement officials say the bodies of several drowning victims haven't been recovered from the lake.
