In the picture with your name above it, what are u holding? I can hardly make it out. It looks more like an animal than a fish...sorry I had to ask as it has been bugging me!

It is actually a Swell Shark. Just one of the wonderful creatures of the sea.[cool]

I'm glad you liked it. You would be surprised at how many freaky species there are on the West coast.

Take a look at the 16 species contest for last year and this year. I put in quite a few different species. Some pretty and some look wierd.[cool]

They don't get any points for beauty in the face but when it comes to coloration on the overall, they do get a few points.[cool]

I had to look them up too. Came across this interesting tidbit:

Ha Ha[laugh][laugh][laugh]. They have nothing to fear though. I don't even attempt to keep everything that I catch. And I only keep what can be used for a family meal on the day of the catch.[cool]
