Help w/ Strawberry
#1
I need some help. I have never been to Strawberry and have decided to make the trip from Brigham City. On top of that
Mrs. Whit has decided that tomorrow will be her first fishing trip. Need I say more. I must produce or this will be the first and last for her.

I think I am pretty good on what baits to use, I just have no idea where to start. I would appreciate any help. If you would like to PM me some GPS coords. that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

[black]Go back through the reports and do a little research. Fish are being caught and enough info is out there to get you real close. I hope you and the misses get on a few. I'd like to help you but Strawberry is not a lake I spend a lot of time at. I do enjoy chasing those cutts though especially through the ice![/black]

Thats the catch if you will. I just bought this boat a few months ago and need to show her that fishing from a boat is better than the shore. Not that it always is, but justification, ya know!

Fish Bryants Fork, south and west of the marina. I can always pick fish up there even when its real slow. I think the portal taking water to Diamond Fork keeps the water and food moving here. And the fish seem to always feed in this bay. I've been having real good success on rapalas and pointers for the last month. Good luck.

Your best bet is find MGB and fallow him around and do exatly what his does. he has had Quite a few 50 to 100 fish days.

If you want to make it both easy and fun, I'd suggest this:
Take along some medium-light spinning rods, and a supply of RoosterTails and Kastmasters. Give 'em a toss out the back and just troll. The cutts have been cooperative for my trips with family members that way, and they have a fun fight on their hands too.
If it's cloudy - go with dark colors. Light - whites and light colors.
Stay shallow, vary your boat speed, troll is S-shaped patterns, and hang on!
Good luck!
