I got a couple of days off that my wife didnt have too many chores for me so I came home to UT and a buddy and I headed uo to Jordanelle on Fri. the 28th. On and off rain and drizzle with some chilly wind - but other than that not too bad.
I started throwing jigs, crankbaits and spinners around some sunken brush hopeing for some smallies - no luck there.
Then we started throwing streamer flies behind a bubble for trout. Between the two of us we caught 9, with two being quite nice. The flies were all dark colors and it didnt seem to make much difference which color you had on. It wasnt fast and furious action but from about 1:00-2:30 was the best time frame.
Back to Cali today for another "work" week (12hrs a day on call - and no one calls[unimpressed] Perhaps this week Ill get lucky)
