Not much of a trip today. Just as I got in the area that I wanted to fish, a big wind hit and the waves made me head back to the shore as fast as I could go. I picked up one nice LMB before the wind but that was all.
The next trip That I take to Mantua, I will be walking on the water! Come on ICE!!!

[cool][#0000ff]Man oh Mantua, that lake seems to have it in for tubers and 'tooners. At least you got something besides hypothermia.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Were you able to meter any concentrations of fish at all?[/#0000ff]

Pat, I use a fishin buddy 2250 which is not a lot of help at times. I marked fish almost everywhere I was at. It could have been loose vegetation or there are a lot of fish in there. It showed fish at all depths just like it did 2 months ago when I was nailing the bluegill and perch.
If I could have stayed longer, I would have had a better chance to conform the finders information. I guess that is what keeps us coming back for more.
