Perch Fishing Article
#1
[cool][#0000ff]In conjunction with the perch cooking article in yesterday's Tribune, there is a followup article in the Outdoors section today, on where and how to catch the little morsels.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Sorry fish4fun05, doesn't look like they included the pic of you and your daughter. You might be able to get a copy by emailing Kathy though. I can give you her email address if you PM me.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Over on the float tube board we are hatchin' a plan to have a major perch fetch, fillet and feed sometime after soft water gets back. That is good on the ice too, but too iffy under current conditions of changing ice and elusive perch.[/#0000ff]

I will check the board because I was just given a float and would like to have a reason to use it.

[cool][#0000ff]We'll gladly take you in. You just gotta remember that in a float tube you keep your head outta the water.[/#0000ff]

Hey, I was a Navy Diver for twenty years, my head was never out of the water. Sometimes my dear wife wishes my head would stay under water. [Wink]

I was watching Fish TV yesterday and they were catching some whoppin perch in cold spring weather........By the way, another good recipe is: Just melt some garlic butter in a fry pan over medium heat.....Throw the little critter filets in the pan, (No coating).....Toss them around until they about done....Put in a pinch of paprika and a pinch of Cajun Dust....And when they get flakey.....Eat em up.
