I had second thoughts about hitting the expo today and on my way there i decided to stop at cabelas.I thought about how it was going to cost me at least $50 just to walk in the door because of the entry fee,food and gas.Man cabelas was having a lot of sales today on items that i use a lot.I ended up spending $300 just on fishing items and another $250 on a toon.To bad i have to get it delivered to me on march 28 but i can wait.I met celebreto on the way out.Good meeting you and your kids .Were gonna have to get together and take them fishing soon.Man what a wonderful day for me but not my pocket book .Oh by the way the honary looking lady beside me was my wife!!!!![sly] [signature]

Congrats on the toon. Is it the Fishcat type or the seat in the middle with "tubes" on the sides? I almost had second thoughts myself but went fishing, a little easier on the wallet.

Yes that type also i got sam some waders and fins so she is ready to go tubing.I already have a tube for her.I need to get together with the almighty Tubemaster one of day and get some tips on tubing.By the way a little advice never ever let your kids drink bookoo energy drinks!They were giving away free drinks at cabelas as you were going inside.I wish i would have prevented my kids from drinking those.Imagine an already hyper 7 year old and 11 year old on energy drinks at cabelas while trying to shop!And that would explain the honary wife!!!!![sly]

Dont worry they get over it (sometimes) i got the pontoon from ODC the ODC Sport XL that was in my price range. Now next i need a trolling motor and a fish finder. The get togethers we have are always open to company! Usually you will see something posted here for the date/time/place. We had some great gatherings last year on UL, and I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity this year.
