D.C/UL REPORT

After hearing how slow its is at UL I decided to run up to DC to run the boat the first time this fishing season.We go up there about 10am fished for 30mins and WHAM!!! the wind came up with 4 ft sweels on the lake..That mafe it for a fun ride back to the ramp,on top of that we got back to the dock and it started to hail really bad filled my boat.We got off the lake and decoded to drop the boat off at the house and went over to the west side of UL to shoot some guns and fish.We were there for a few hours dealing with the wind and rain,there was a 15min break from the wind and the sun cam out and WHAMMMM my pole almost went into the lake.I hooked up a nice cat,first one of the year.That was the only bite of the day.It was nice to be out and hopefully this weather will warm things up.The pic is my nephew holding my fish.

Not a bad kitty! Looks like the lake is way up this spring. Should make for some great spawning conditions.

Actually the lake was down about 2 ft from 2 weeks ago.The water was all the way up to the weeds that are piled on the shoreline.Its still way up from last year though.
