Aqua Vue

Hey Pat,

You ever use one of these on a tube? My friend has one from his boating days that he can't seem to sell. I was joking that he should set it up on his tube. My friend used to do plumbing on the side. (He's a firefighter by trade!) Consequently he had a lot of old black PVC kicking around. He went to school on you and now his tube looks a bit like the plumbing underneath my kitchen sink. He even made a thermos holder. (Now he has to go to shore twice as often!)

[cool][#0000ff]I've gotta admit there have been a lot of times I would have liked to have one, but never have seen one set up for tubing. They are pretty big and bulky.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]A lot of guys in Utah have them...or the cheap models from Harbor Freight...that they use for ice fishing. It is really great to watch fish come up and either munch your jig or flip you off and swim away.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Just like sonar though, one of the big values in having underwater video is being able to get a good picture of the bottom and structure, and how the fish are acting. The painful part is seeing a bunch of fish that you can't get to bite.[/#0000ff]
