Haunted places
#1
[cool][#0000ff]This is a day late (and a dollar short) but here is a neat link I got yesterday. It is a website that lists and describes "haunted" places...around the country and around the world. Just click on the state or country you want to see and it will bring up a list.[/#0000ff]

Pat, I'm sure when you decide to go tubin' in the sky, they will have to list several local lakes that will be haunted by some phantom tuber!

[cool][#0000ff]IF...and I say IF...I am capable of returning to my favorite angling "haunts", I won't waste good fishing time saying BOO to scare other folks away. It will be strictly "stealth mode".[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]It would be kinda nice to be remembered though. Maybe the Lincoln Beach TubeDude Memorial and toxic waste site.[/#0000ff]

Go to the Checker on 45th & State and ask some of the people who have worked the closing shift and you may get some wide eyed looks.
I think there is a ghost in there! I was a closing "parts tech" for a few years there. I never saw anything, but I got the feelings. There was one story of a guy who saw a white "cloud" in one of the isles after closing. Two guys (I think they both still work there) were there at around 2am resetting some shelfing when the radio on the other side of the store started changing stations from one side of the dial to the other.
Once I was there alone (I let my last employee go about 15min before me), and I could not get the alarm to set because it kept faulting out for "movement in zone X", so I checked that zone, returned to the alarm screen, now it was movement in "zone Y" ,then "zone z" ect. I was getting pretty spooked by the time the alarm finaly did set, I got out in a hurry! I NEVER let myself be alone in that place again after that![crazy][angelic]

[cool][#0000ff]No doubt about it. There are a lot of things that happen which are unexplainable...by any science or logic we have.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]It's surprising how many people laugh at others who claim to have had "experiences"...until something freaky happens to them.[/#0000ff]
