As of 10/16 there were barracades across the North Marina ramp. I don't think that they would mind you launching a tube but I would check with the state park first though.

Also, Private boat dock on the south west side is assesable to fishin now. All the boats have been pulled from the marina. Spent an hour on the 16th there and managed to catch one perch and one wiper.

Occording to the Ogden Standard, they are planning to let 10 feet of water out of Willard. That is going to lower the depth in the N. Marina to about 3 feet where the docks are.

Will we be able to hunt ducks on it again this year?

Sounds like the leak is worse than expected. I hope they don't have to take that much water out, as it takes a wet winter to get things back to par.

To bad we do nto have the equipment in the state to build a temp damn around taht section of the dyke, similarly to the way they fix em down in New Orleans. than there would be no need to drain it.

So if we can start duck hunting willard should i take my pole and through out a crawller and let it soak while i shoot ducks?

the state park has closed the reservoir to all boats, tubes, pontoons, etc. while they lower the lake level and fix the leak. probably for a month.

I noticed that they have all but stopped the flow of water out of Echo, This may be to slow the flow into Willard and hopefuly allow them to store some water early to help refill Willard easier. I am probably giving them too much credit, they can't possibly plan that far ahead.
