Bear Lake
#1
Fished Bearlake with mtnman Thursday the 16th started the day at 8:00 weather was ok but cloudy very little wind. That would change. We went to the Rock pile area as soon as we started fishing the wind came up bad out of the south. Going into the waves was a pain for control going with a pain to keep the speed down but not as rough. It did calm down a little around 2. We ended up catching 6 fish, 5 cuts largest 3lbs, 1 Mack at 5 lbs. I considered this pretty good considering the fishing conditions. Hope to have better luck next week. Good luck to the salsa party wish I could be there.[Sad]

Kind of tough to keep the lead down in the zone when you are riding 4 foot waves..............

Did you happen to mark any schools of whitefish by chance? Still a bit early for thier spawn I bet.

Marked several schools of smaller fish could be white fish or maybe even cisco.
