[#002850]I got an e-mail with the subject "Always wear sunglasses while fishing!!!!!"

Freekin' near lost my cookies when I opened it up.

I would think your wife or kids would not like seeing these pics so be careful and open at your own digression. Open fishhook #1 first and #4 last.

One hell of a way for a guy to get nailed by a Jakes Spin-a-Lure.[/#002850]

I have three sons, ages 8 and 6 year old twins, and I took them fishing with their own poles here a few weeks ago. Holy cow were they wild. My oldest was fishing with a spinning reel for the first time and he always casted at a 90 degree angle from his intended target. I spent a good part of our time out fishing bobbers from the trees. Anyway, I worried about them hooking each other and thought maybe I should get them at least some sun glasses to protect their eyes. I think I will definitely do that now. A hook in the eye is a quick way to ruin many a fishing trips.

Wow that is unbelievable! That must have hurt beyond imagination. I wonder if he recovered ok and has full use of his eye.
