Basic Beer Batter

1 x eggs
1 cup beer
1 cup flour, plain
1/10 tsp salt
Method :
Beat egg in a bowl, add beer and beat until smooth.
Add flour and salt and beat until smooth.
Allow batter to rest for 30 minutes before using.
Lightly flour items before dipping in batter, then submerge in hot oil.
Use for deep-fried fish, fruit and vegetables.
