Sunday,01/28/07- Hit the water at about 7:30 am. What a perfect day to be on the water, sunny, smooth as glass, no wind. Tee-shirt weather! Anchored in 70 feet of water in the channel across from Hole 33. Started chumming and soaking cut anchovy. Action was pretty good from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. Ended up with 15 stripers in the box, most about a pound and a half, all fat and healthy. Released at least that many to fight another day. Can't wait to do it again!

Hello BaySport I envy you. I have the itch real bad but to my luck my truck is broken. Had to send part out for repair. Talked to repair shop and part is repaired and on its way home. Be back out on the lake soon! Make sure to flush out your motor and watch out for the Guagga Mussels they can do alot of damage to your boat and also catch a ride to any other lakes that you might visit.

Boy, it was a great day to be out on the water! I can't fish this weekend because of relations visiting. The following weekend I'll be out of town. Won't be back on the water for about three weeks. Don't envy me, feel sorry for me! Hope the truck works out okay.

Hey Baysport,
Long time. But I'm going to have to agree with stripercraze...I envy you as well. You're on the lake just about every weekend. It takes me about 4 and a half to five hours to get from LA to Temple Bar so I can only find time to go a few times a year.
Anyway, thanks for the report. I'm hoping to head out to Mead again in late-February when I switch firms. I'm moving from LA to Irvine or Newport Beach. In my personal, humble opinion....LA is the armpit of hell. But that's just me...
Best regards,
Paul
