ok i've had some guy's ask what a costom perch jig looks like.. so here it is..
note: i don't call them perch jig's becuse i catch perch on them.. well inless i'm at yuba that is..lol i call them that becuse they look like perch.. make the big one look like the small one. the big one is not finished yet. but i dont have time to finish it today befor i have to go.. sorry

here are some more i just pulled from my box.. all of them cought jumbo perch at yuba the last 4 day's.. no sign of any eye's that i could find tho.[unsure]

Pretty cool lookin' jigs Ron. I'd guess that with all the food in Yuba, the bigger predators really don't have to work hard for a meal.

well i'm not sure about there being a ton of food in the lake. there is a lot of perch in the lake it would seam.. but the minnow's did not show up in the lake this year like they did couple years ago. all the fish i have cought have looked good and fat.. it would seem that the lake should only get better as this year go's on. we should be seeing jumbo perch thriving in the lake.. maybe even record setting perch this time next year.
but we do need to get some water soon to keep it that way. the lake does not do good on bad water years.. and this year so far is not looking good for water.

If i remember correctly TD and TB went down there this fall and caught a few perch with trout minows in there mouth. Go figure all the small ones are gone.
