I have one and have been quite happy with it. I have done both stillwater and moving water with no problems. There are 3 of us with the boat and there have been some valve problems and also the oar rests broke off a couple of them from transporting I think that the pressure from the pontoons from other boats pushing them out when they where loaded on top of each other. However with each problem the company who produces them has replaced all the parts no problem excellent customer service. I have another buddy that just purchased one and the bladders were seperate (mine came already inside I have the older vavle system) it is very difficult to line them up and when inflatted if not lined up they are a pain. Go on-line to Sam's club you will get a better price then Cabelas. Hope this helps.

I've got my eyes on a nice toon by ODC. I helped my local tackle shop put one together as a store display around a year ago. They haven't had any hits on it yet and the store manager might let me have it at a tremendous discount.
I can't wait!!!![cool]

Ok. I'm a complete ignoramus when it comes to most things electrical. If I do end up getting this pontoon I will definately want the trolling motor to get from point A to point B. My question is what kind of battery do I need for the trolling motor? I know I need a Group 24 deep cycle battery but do I need to pay $100+ for one? that's more than the trolling motor i'm looking at. any suggestions?

I think you can go to wallmart or Sams Club and get a marine Batt for about 60.00.

[black][size 3]Like Majja said, $60. at Wally World. Be sure you get a DEEP CYCLE battery. The motors will just eat up anything else. And yes one of those great big ones if you have to. [/size][/black]
[black][size 3]If I can carry one down to the water with my weenie arms, I know you can[laugh][/size][/black]

I have the TU colorado and I love it. I got a deep cycle battery for my trolling motor at wal-mart for about $60. Havent had any problems with any thing, except for losing an oar stop out the back of the truck on her maiden voyage... oops
You'll need a charger for your battery also unless you already have one, they are also pretty cheap at wallys
