Please tell me you "doctored" that pic on photo shop. I get shivers just seeing that picture.
And next time, do make sure to fish either early in the morning or at night. That's when the stripers are most active. Although I'm not sure if you're rigged to fish at night. Good luck!
Best regards,
Paul

Good God....that's a real photo. That's the last time I go kayaking in the ocean. Man, that's scary. I don't know. It looks like the shark is larger than the kayak.
Best regards,
Paul

Like to hear if someone is on shallow bass. Last time I was out, about 10 days ago, I was catching one at 30 ft. Tough bite! And drop shotting...

the water is still pretty cold, but i expect the bass to be in less than 15-20 feet by the 3rd week of this month. We are gonna have some really warm weather these next few weeks, and i know those bass are at least in the pre-spawn right now. Drop-shotting may be our best bet until, maybe march 20th? or so... then we can start targeting those active bass in the shallows. Ill be out in my kayak in a week or so again, and i will start my search for the bass. ill post the results for ya whe i get back.
