Florida Parishes Fishing

Where are good places to fish from the bank in the Florida Parishes- Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, Washington, Livingston? Any kind of fish from bream to catfish to bass.

There is no Florida Parish in Louisiana. However, the parishes north of Lake Pontchartrain, Washington, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, and St. Helena as a group are known as the Florida Parishes due to their history and having been a part of Florida a long time ago. It is just another way the area I live in is known by.

dont ya just love local history? so much more interesting than what is in the school books...

the capitol of the state of michigan is no longer in the state of michigan, it is in indiana, "michigan city" during a boarder dispute with ohio we lost the capitol of our state....LOL
