First float trip of the year:
#1
Finally went on my first float tube trip of the year earlier this month. Caught some bass and blue gills but not anything to brag about, getting tough. Caught this guy on my last cast of the day. [Smile] He was 17 1/2 in. with a girth of about 19 in. Technically, wasn't float tubing since I had gotten out of the tube to do some sight fishing. I have a request - if anyone knows where this is, please don't blab, ok? Fishing here is really getting tough because of all the locals and others hitting it the last few years and it just can't take the pressure!! [unsure]

Sorry Leaky, but I am affraid all great fishing holes are getting that way. I use to feel pretty sure I would have the Provo to myself during the week, but that has sure changed. DOESN"T ANYONE WORK ANYMORE![laugh]

[cool][#0000ff]Good report ol' buddy. A few of us know where you go, but no need to broadcast it. As you say, it is already getting more traffic than it needs. But, I doubt that many of the folks abusing it are BFTers. And, there are other sources of information that send people out there.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If you drive that far, you shouldn't have to work that hard to enjoy your fishing too.[/#0000ff]

Nice catch there leaky. As long as you were on a tubing trip, the catch counts.

Just remember, Cowboys get their fame after the dismount, not while they are riding.[Wink]
