West Coast BFT Rally

[size 1]We are planning a BFT get together at Castaic Lake Lagoon. This will be on Sunday April [#ff0000]29 [/#ff0000]at the Lagoon launch ramp at sunrise or shortly thereafter.

If anyone on the West Coast would like to participate in this event, feel free to come along. Bring your Tube, Toon, Yak, Small Boat with electric motor or feel free to fish from the bank or fishing dock. [/size]

[size 1]I will be handing out BFT Stickers and Hook Safes to all who come join us.


Since this is kindof my playground, I feel obligated to invite all who attend to McDonalds after the event or call for delivery of something there at the lake.

There are plenty of Bass for all to catch. Bluegill and Trout are also on the menu.

If you are using Spinning, Baitcasting, or Flyswatting gear, come on over and have a good time.

I will update the guest list as it grows.

I would love to join you at Castaic, I mean I would really really love to join you but.......I live in NE so that is going to be a little hard to pull off. Have fun, catch 20 lb bass and take pics.

Sounds like it would be a blast -- I can't buy Bass on my tube for the last couple of weeks....that place sounds like it would break the slump.

On the plus side, went out with the neighbor and kids on his boat today and had a BBQ and participated in the Crappie harvest -- did pretty good on the Crappie, but had a hard time keeping those pesky walleyes of the hooks -- we were wasting good Crappie bait on them

After the BBQ, I was trying to figure a way to attach a grill to my tube in the near future -- thought maybe tubeN2 could attach a diagram of one of his for me.

If anyone wants the grill diagram for the Tube, I need to know if you want the Gas or Electric version.

I hope to get a 20lb Bass. I am still trying to break my current Lagoon record of 18lb 6oz on 6# test line. I have some new 8# line for a tackle test that I will be using though.

Report and pics will follow the event including the Mickey Dees rondevous afterwards.
