What is a Mojo? I have heard people using a mojo dropshot to catch bass at DC. But I have no idea what it is. And haven't found anything at the store. Is it a brand of hook, or just a way to rig something?
Besides a LMB thru the ice, I have not fished for bass up there for about 5-6 years. Now that I have a tube I would like to get them from that. Anyone who knows about mojo's I'd sure like to hear from ya.

where's cliff? He can tell you everything you need to know about a mojo. I think he likes Yum-dingers as well.

As I understand it, it's just an overpriced dropshot weight that goes under the lure you're presenting to keep it suspended off the bottom. I hear split shot works just as well or peppers makes dropshot weights that are cheaper and about as good.

MOJO is the best weights fishing, they have many types of weights some for fly fishing and some for bass and trout and waleye....
You will see a lot of copy cats but only one real MOJO.....
And you must be best if all the rest is coping you the first and original....

Weights for fly fishing? I think you invented that one cause there isn't anything on their website product list that has to do with fly fishing.

Mojo started making the weight system several year ago. They originally started off with a line of Plastics for Big Gaming in Fresh and Saltwater.
They wouldn't work in the Great Salt Lake so they took them to the West Coast. The plastics took off from there.[cool]

The first time I heard of MOJO was when I was fishing a B.A.S.S. tournament in the late 80's on the Columbia River with Don Ivino and he showed some to me and even rigged my pole for me....
I was shown by other fly fisherman how they use one type of MOJO weights for fly fishing on rivers for BIG FISH, and I have used it as well when I fished the streams....So MR. P go call some one who cares....
