Michigan salmon fishing report

strictly word of mouth here , the salmon are starting to stage at the mouth of the manistee river with a few being cought in the small lake .
no reports from the river have come in .

now would that be the coho or steel head. I cant remember which one goes first.... I know its not the chinook or kings...
