anderson ranch?

I was thinking of taking the family up to anderson ranch this weekend to do some camping/fishing/boating. I heard that the reservoir was closed to fishing due to the kokanee spawning. Is this true and if so, is it closed just to targeting kokanee or all fish? I was planning on trying my luck with some small mouth in it. Also, we'll just be tent camping, so any suggestions on where to camp? I haven't really checked out that area before as usually I fly fish the south fork when I head out that way.
