Lake Buchanan: Water: clear; 84 degrees; 1017.90'
Largemouth are fair at first light in 5-10 feet using wacky
rigged watermelon-purple Whacky Sticks, working pumpkin
Skip N Pop topwaters and suspending crankbaits along
deeper ledges in creeks.
Stripers are fair at daylight schooling along the river channel over 25 to 40 feet in the lower end close to the dam casting and jigging Spoiler Shads (plastic swim baits), Rat-L-Traps and drifting or free-lining live bait in 30-40 feet.
White Bass are fair but small along the river channel or
in deep creeks on Tiny Traps and 2 inch plastic swim baits.
Crappie fair in clear water using pink/white or chart.
Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows.

Lake LBJ Water Stained, 85 degrees, 824.88'
Largemouth are good to 6 pounds at daylight and just
before dark in 4-8 feet tight to seawalls and laydowns
using JDC Skip N Pops or 1/8th oz. Curb's buzzbaits and,
skipping wacky rigged green pumpkin Whacky Sticks.
Stripers are good at night with limits to 26 inches on
Creme Lure's Spoiler Shads.
White Bass good at night on Little Fishies.
Crappie are good with limits of fish to 16 inche from
brush piles in 12-15 feet on Curb's crappie jigs and live
minnows.

Canyon Lake: Water: clear; 84 degrees; 909.31':
Largemouth are fair to good in 10-20 feet along ledges
of mainlake bluffs on drop shot rigs, watermelon-red
Whacky Sticks on jigheads or Texas rigged 6" purple
Scoundrel worms on shaky head jigs and white spinner-
baits fished in standing timber in 4-8 feet.
Upriver JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, wacky rigged
watermelon-red Whacky Sticks and Texas rigged blue
flake worms produce tight to laydowns .
Smallmouth are fair early along leges and over rockpiles in
15- 28 feet using Smokin' Green" Devil's Tongues on drop
shots, smoke JDC curl tail grubs on jigheads, and 3/16 oz.
pumpkin Curb's jigs with matching drop shot worms.
Stripers are small but fair at first light schooling in the
lower end jigging blade baits and trolling Gizz4 or deep
running Shad Raps crankbaits over and around humps.
White Bass are slow and small on mainlake points at day-
light.
Crappie are fair up river on minnows and crappie jigs.
