Oxbow/Brownlee Report from 10/6-10/07

[Fishtoe]

Water temp was 60-61 Bass/Crappie were off deep points in 35-60 feet of water. Fishing was good to excellent. Oxbow seems better to me ....caught 4 over 3lb. I hope to go up tomorrow and will try to update this report. I have been using the drop-shot rig with a bunch of different soft baits. Dark colors seen to work best. I believe the fishing will hold up for a couple of more weeks at least. Also as a side note CJ is slowing down per my fishing buddy that was there two days ago....may have been the cold front. If anyone is catching BASS in other spots please let me know.

Sometimes I wish I lived in the part of the state with more bass. Nice picture of the Lake Fork Bass. Thanks for the report.

Lake Fork is a LMB party hole, check their website, those bass are gaint!
