Report from Rivers End Tackle
#1
UPDATED BY PAT ON FRIDAY, November 30th, 2007
This will be our last report for the season.

STRIPED BASS- Its pretty near over except for school bass in and near the mouth of the Thames River. Theres schoolies at Harkness on a sporadic basis, if its anything like last year they'll be close to the beach throughout December. There were some better sized bass caught last weekend at Long Sand Shoal but we haven't heard anything from there in the last few days. Theres not too many boats out there to get reports from. The RI Shore has birds working several hundred yards offshore. Close to the beach theres schools of peanut bunker traveling unmolested. Reports from Long Island have mostly small schoolies on the Southshore Beaches.

BLUEFISH- Gonzo.

BLACKFISH- The diehards are still getting 'em at Southwest and other local reefs.

BONEFISH- No they're not in the River but we're expecting them south this winter. We have a group trip to Los Roques, Venezuela in February. For more detail call Pat 860-388-2283.

WINTER HOURS- Monday to Friday 9am-6pm----- Saturday 9am-5pm------Sunday 9am -4pm
We'll be having our winter workshops and seminars again. We'll send a list as soon as its published.
