Utah Lake ice!

Is that ice I see on Utahlakeview.com. Provo boat harbor.

It does look like ice if it is it is really thin. Could just be because there is no wind and teh water is really calm

It is ice albeit it is very thin right now. I went over there during lunch and noticed there are still open spots in the middle of the harbor. The main lake is still wide open and is still probably a few weeks away from totally capping. I remember around this time a few years back that I got into the white bass fishing the open water at the tip of the north jetty.

It looks to me like it has ice. I'm no expert but I would estimate 1/2".

[cool]The forcast calls for snow this weekend and lows in the teens for next week in the valley. That should do the trick for safe ice at the Harbors of Utah Lake.
