Went to Echo today with family members. Talked to some people who were catching trout about 10 feet down. We had to move around to find the fish. The kids had a good time and were able to reel in some perch.
Perch eyes/meat fished close to the bottom worked best.
Good fishing.

I hit Echo last night and this morning. REALLY COLD! Windy today. Did fair on the perch but really spotty and hot/cold. Ice is good 8". Perch in about 25'. Occasional trout came through at 15'-18'.

Perch ranged in size from 6"-10". I didn't put a tape on them, but they were good enough to keep. They were hanging out in about 20' of water.

I was up there on Thursday and had a good time with the perch. Iced one brown, and had at least another two get a long line release. My buddy landed one bow.
Fished in 27 feet of water and had a bite from 7:30am to 11:30am. Man is it cold up there or what?
