Long time reader, finally decided to jump aboard. Hit the berry on wed. before the big wind storm. The slush wasn't a problem where we fished. It had frozen about 4-5 inches and it was easy for us to drag our sleds out. The cutts were pretty active all day, I landed 24 fish with 3 over the slot a 24 and 2-22.5" cutts. The "hot" color of the day was glow flor. green tipped with wax or meal worms. It didn't seem to matter which. All 3 fish over the slot came off the pole dead stick'n it. The big fish just wanted it still I guess. I only landed 4 fish on that pole all day, but they were shallow.
