Broken Bow: Elevation rising, water 49 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on spoons and deep-running crankbaits around islands and off points. Catfish good on juglines and trotlines with cut bait. Hugo: Elevation 3 1/2 ft. above normal, water 46. White bass and crappie fair on jigs and trolling shad-colored crankbaits in the upper Kiamichi River channel. Lower Mountain Fork River: Trout good on tiny flies and very light tippets. Most popular flies have been quite small and the color red has been very productive. Two-fly rigs seem to be the favorite method using flies such as Soft Hackles, Zebra Midges, UFO and Disco Midge. Report submitted by Beavers Bend Fly Shop.
