Weber Friday 03/07
#1
Hit the Weber between Coalville and Wanship last Friday.Had to sit in the coffee shop in Coalville for an hour waiting for it to warm above 15 degrees that morning.Hit the water about 9:30 and kept busy knocking ice out of the eyelets for the first three hours of fishin.Did pretty well with 3 browns landed, biggest being a nice 18 incher, and at least 7 or 8 whitefish. Most productive bug was a beadhead hare's ear.Zebra midge worked well also.Water level was down and clarity was good. I'd like to see the Weber get a real good flushing and get rid of the build up of silt that's in there. I believe that's probably just a matter of time with all the snowpack we have.
